Positioning channels on semi-dry concrete.
In order to achieve a tight connection during installation it is advised to apply a dry set mortar on a female cut out, and after forcing other channel the excessive mortar is to be removed. The next step is to encase the channel side with concrete according to the drawings..
Applying semi-dry concrete under the channels enables to perform levelling precisely and easily.
The class of the concrete used for the strip footings and concrete encasements must not be lower than the class of the substrate and surface to be drained.
The individual parts are connected with one another with frost and water resistant mortars. Expansion joint should be made of bituminous compounds. It is possible to cut the channels – preferably at the place, where the gratings are connected.
